About me.
About me
My goals.
I invest heavily in space exploration, innovation of any sort, and leading the future. Throughout my career, I hope to aid in the advancement of space exploration and society as a whole.
My skills.
While I am constantly building my skill set, I am already confident in my ability to use CAD/CAM software, code in MATLAB, Python, and C, fabricate and operate fluid systems, and conduct test operations. To demonstrate my ability in these areas, I have completed many projects that require such skills.
My education.
I’m currently completing my junior year in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.
My volunteering.
For nearly a year and a half, I served as a mentor at Ohio Project MORE. “The mission of Project MORE is to help every student maximize their reading potential, no matter their ability level.” This opportunity allowed me to mentor 2-4 times each week with young, emerging readers in grades 2-5. With a focus on improving reading fluency and the ability to truly connect with my students, I know that my work here mattered.
My experience.
While in school, I have gained tons of engineering experience through Purdue Space Program. As part of the liquids team, I have helped with the manufacturing, design, and test operations of our Methane-LOx rocket, Boomie Zoomie B. Now, I’m the Lower Plumbing Responsible Engineer leading a team of 10 in the development of propellant feed plumbing on our Ethanol-LOx rocket, CraterMaker Special. I have also gained lots of test setup and operational experience working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Zucrow Labs.
My awards.
Throughout high school, I achieved a few milestones such as filing for my first patent or qualifying for the DECA International competition. At Purdue, I achieved Semester Honors and the Dean’s List.
